Alternatively you can buy combo packs featuring both racer and cop versions of each car, albiet for a higher price of admission. Cop versions of each car are also avaiable in separate Ferrari and Jaguar police packs. Both packs are available to download now on all platforms for £3.09 each. The Ferrari pack was joined by a Jaguar pack, which adds the XJ220 (notable for being the world's first hypercar) and the Jaguar C-X75 Prototype Jaguar's hybrid-electric two-seater named in honor of Jaguar's 75th anniversary which makes its game debut here. Never say never, though: EA has stated that there are many more DLC packs coming to Need for Speed: Rivals over the next four weeks, so watch this space. While the inclusion of the F40 was somewhat predictable, I was admittedly surprised not to see the coveted LaFerrari make an appearance, but alas it didn't materialise, meaning that Forza Motorsport 5 is curently the only game to feature the highly-publicised hybrid supercar. Keen to flaunt this prestigious license further, EA has released a new Ferrari DLC pack adding two new prancing horses to the collection: the iconic Ferrari F40 and its ugly younger sister, the Ferrari F50. As we know, Need for Speed: Rivals marks the first time Ferrari has appeared in a Need for Speed game in 11 years – if you exclude its Xbox-only appearance in Need for Speed: Shift, we last saw Ferrari in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 in 2002. ![]()
